2. Flossing is important too. Dentists are very clear on the importance of both brushing and flossing, as flossing helps reach portions between teeth a toothbrush could never hope to.
3. Skipping acidic drinks or lowering your intake considerably would be very helpful as well. Fruit juices are included here, as despite being healthier for you than soft drinks they still contain an amount of food acid that could eventually wear down the enamel of teeth.
4. Only use teeth for biting, chewing and eating food. Don’t use them for popping bottle tops, cracking seeds or nuts, biting your fingernails or ripping open packaging. While these acts may seem impressive, if pointlessly so, they are all fairly risky for teeth and might result in chipped or otherwise damaged teeth.
